Mr. Filmer Carl Hager, 84, of Winder, Ga., formerly of Memphis, Tenn., and Ravenswood, W.Va., passed away on Aug. 22, 2011.
Born in Ramage, W.Va., he retired from the city of Memphis City Hall, where he was building chief engineer manager. He was a retired E7 chief petty officer, serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hearl and Nona Hager.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy J. Hager of Winder, Ga.; and a son, Carl Lee Hager of Atlanta, Ga.
