Rev. Leonard Taylor Strickland passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

Mr. Strickland retired from Ford Motor Company. He was an ordained minister who preached the gospel throughout his life.

Mr. Strickland is preceded in death by his parents, James Leonard Strickland and Roxie Britton Hall Strickland.

Mr. Strickland is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Pamela Hulsey Strickland; sons. Jonathan and Tony Strickland, Josh and Greg Ferm; daughters, Angela Strickland Golden, Kelly Strickland Spinks, Charman Strickland, and Dr. Jessica Richardson; sisters, Annie Stanton, Francis White, and Nina Cartwright; 5 grandchildren also...

The funeral service to celebrate the life of Rev. Leonard Taylor Strickland will be held on Saturday evening, September 16, 2017 at 6:00 PM in the Smith Memory Chapel with Revs. Frankie Greene and Will Griffeth officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, September 16,2017 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home, 755 Atl. Hwy SE Winder, GA 30680.

The arrangements for Tennessee are as follows: Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 6:00 PM at Samples Memorial Baptist Church, 371 Samples Chapel Rd SE, Cleveland, TN 37323. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Smith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 561, Winder, Ga. 30680 for funeral expense.
