William Montgomery Harlow, age 82 of Winder, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017. Mr. Harlow was a native of Missouri and as a republican was the youngest man to be elected to the Missouri State Legislature, where he was the minority whip. He retired as a psychologist. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. William E. and Mary Montgomery Harlow. William is survived by his wife, Marie Maupin Harlow of Winder; three daughters, Anne Basford of Winder, Melissa Bryant of Winder and Kelly Jorgensen of Winder; four grandchildren, Shannon Basford, Ryan Lemen, Josh...

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. William E. and Mary Montgomery Harlow. William is survived by his wife, Marie Maupin Harlow of Winder; three daughters, Anne Basford of Winder, Melissa Bryant of Winder and Kelly Jorgensen of Winder; four grandchildren, Shannon Basford, Ryan Lemen, Josh Lemen and Abby Norris and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2PM Thursday, June 15, 2017 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA with Father Nick officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of the arrangements.
